Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become a global wealth manager with USD1.4 trillion in assets.  Our dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.  We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance, wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers' needs.

Media manager to develop media strategy & planning according to business and overall marcom cadence, including but not limited to press & industry media, OOH, digital media, social media, search engine, programmatic buy, CPL/CPA model. 

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.

In this role, you will:

  • Setup end to end campaign user journey and monitoring execution performance and optimize in process with Data & Analytics support to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of media plan. 
  • Develop social content plan and carry out operation with agency support, integrating business priority and marketing activities into social content plan; Generating insights on reader preference thus provide guidance on topic and creative to content providers for high quality content preparation.
  • Working with Customer Proposition & Marketing team, 2nd line of defense team, and all entities business stakeholders, to ensure consistency and compliance in HSBC's media governance and regulatory policy.
  • Media and social agency daily operation and management, new partnership development to strategically and scientifically enhance external media communication. 
Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above in marketing or related major with Minimum 8 years marketing experience with a minimum of 3 years in media planning role.
  • Integrity, strong ownership with great communication skills who is capable of coordinate requests from various parties and provide high-quality deliverables.
  • Solid knowledge in China media and social environment. Preferred working experience in luxury, retail or financial industry with active marketing practices.
  • Creative, out of the box thinker who can push the boundary of status quo.
  • Tech savvy, who is always willing to explore new technologies and possibilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
