We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Data Manager - WHOLESALE CDAO - CHINA.

Principal responsibilities

  • Acting as a data SME to work with Head of S&SEA Data and country representatives to improve data quality in legacy systems and strategic reporting platforms for South and South East Asia.
  • Evaluate data quality issues identified by various countries and assist them in devising strategies to enhance the adequacy, accuracy, and legitimacy of their data.
  • Partner with platform owners and IT to implement enhancements and fixes to improve data quality within reporting platforms like Omnia.
  • Maintain proficiency in the Global Management Operational Model and tools, providing guidance to stakeholders on alignment with the established framework.
  • Deliver both short and long-term recommendations to countries on enhancing their capabilities through the use of Global WDAC capabilities.
  • Lead and conduct country reviews on the data sharing and outsourcing policies to propose analytics solutions and capabilities.
  • Offer regulatory compliance guidance on the design and execution of data strategy and architecture.
  • Ensure data usage complies with local laws and aligns with Group Data Policy and Regulatory requirements.
  • Promote the adoption of Global Data Management and Analytics tools and solutions by collaborating with global partners to address country-specific challenges and requirements
  • Collaborate & influence a wide range of partners / stakeholders from technology, business owners as well as senior management.
  • Provide training and support on data related topics such as data lineage, trusted data sources to data users.
    Requirements
    • Relevant data management experience of at least 5 years.
    • Experience in running multi-country reporting or/and data quality projects.
    • Experience in handling data sharing, privacy, outsourcing approval process.
    • Strong and effective communication skills, ability to work with multiple stakeholders including senior management team.
    • Strong organizational, problem-solving skills and ability to operate independently and in a team.
    • Highly adaptable and ability to approach things differently to achieve goals.
    • Self-motivated professional, passionate to drive analytics vision, innovation and transformation for impactful business results.
    • Proven experience in people management.
    • Familiarity with modern database and information system technologies.

    Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
