We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Finance Manager, Banking Business Finance.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the business to provide insightful strategic planning and business performance analysis to support to the Head of Global Banking Asia and Portfolio Management teams, specifically for Real Estate and Structured Finance product
  • Facilitate/support the day to day and strategic management of GB Asia through the preparation, analysis and distribution of value added, timely, and commercial analysis
  • Provide support on all aspects of business finance deliverables on ASP GB Lending including reporting, forecasting, annual plan and strategic analysis for senior management
  • Business partnering with regional and country business and product heads to deliver sound financial advice on business performance and forecasting to drive business growth and returns while optimising costs and capital consumption
  • Responsibility for understanding and providing robust challenge to the calculation and attribution of Global Banking RWAs as reported in RCT
  • Drive the development and delivery of financial analysis on GB balance sheet metrics (including NII, RWA, liquidity), models/forecasts and strategic business analysis to support business performance tracking and decision making
  • Support and collaborate with stakeholders on the transformation agenda on regards to FoTC, Visualisation, Digital
  • Drive changes in Operating Model, Automation and Technology / Visualisation to achieve sustainable process improvements across GB Pillar ASP
  • Support business and finance on SOX compliance
Requirements
  • Relevant business finance background preferably with commercial banking or global banking experience. RWA experience is a plus
  • Proven track record of successful business partnering
  • Accountancy, Finance or Economics qualifications preferred
  • Significant experience in financial analysis, modelling/forecasting and relevant Finance and Bank systems
  • Agile, change mindset, dynamic and curious approach to work
  • Excellent analytical skills with advance ability to work with data to draw conclusions and deliver actionable insights
  • Exceptional drive and commitment, ability to work and thrive in a fast changing and results driven environment
  • An inquisitive mind who is not afraid to challenge the status quo, continuously look at ways to improve processes and reduce duplications
  • Strong technical and commercial understanding of what drives the numbers
  • Experienced in dealing with all levels as well as the confidence to interact with senior management
  • Strong influencing, interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proven ability in handling competing priorities
  • A self-starter who is not afraid to speak up and face a challenge and also open to listen to guidance and learn as they go
  • Excellent communication, planning and organization skills
  • Good operating skills, including use of TM1, Omnia Office, Qlik, Python etc.
