Enterprise Technology/Compliance IT Department brings together all areas of financial crime risk management at HSBC including anti-money laundering: transaction monitoring, screening, risk assessment etc. and is dedicated to implement the most effective global standards to combat financial crime.
Risk & Compliance technology design and deploy cutting edge technology to defend the bank and its customers from Sanctions Risk, Financial Crime Risk, Identity Threat, Unauthorised Trading and Market Abuse & Regulatory Sanctions, as well as supporting Enterprise Risk Management.  We provide the systems that enable our global businesses to grow through data-driven, pro-active risk management.

Role Overview: 
The PA support will provide administrative support to Enterprise Technology, working closely with a select group of GCB3 leaders across Uk & India (as appropriate). Role holders will be expected to exercise confidentiality, tact, and diplomacy skills. This role is vital to the smooth running of the Enterprise Technology office.
The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, a love of processes and a passion for organisation. 
 

What you’ll do
Provide high-level administrative and secretarial support 
Support offsite planning (as and when required)
Co-ordinate travel and accommodation requirements; including visa requirements & complete expenses in a timely manner
Adhoc tasks provided by the GCB3 leaders as and when assistance is required 
Handle all communication including post, calls and ensuring prompt response or escalation where necessary.
Prepare documents for meetings when required

What you need to have to succeed in this role
  • Excellent written and oral communication and able to build effective working relationships 
  • Possesses excellent organisational skills and attention to detail is paramount
  • Proficient IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel 
  • Self-driven, pro-active, and energetic with a positive attitude
  • Experience working in a large financial service organisation
  • Experience of working as a Personal Assistant / Support manager role is beneficial 
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive matters at the highest level
  • Demonstrates flexibility in working days & working responsibilities
