Your career opportunity
Test Automation Analyst will closely work with IT and Business to establish testing for banking application and recommend needs to prove the system satisfies the business function. You will own the end-to-end testing responsibility and ensure coverage is complete.
What you’ll do
- Provide consultancy to functional test team in documenting business scenarios. Propose changes to improvements customer experience.
- Understand the business Use Case from business representatives and help to translate them into Functional, Non-Functional and Regression test cases. Coordination with Business Analyst during requirement understanding, project demo.
- Work with Test Lead and provide inputs to Test Strategy preparation, Project Estimation, design for Automated Test solutions, producing Test Data.
- Work closely with the Business Analyst, Developers, Test Engineers to provide support in proving end to end testing, clarifications on defects. Publish daily testing project status to stakeholders. Update progress in stand ups and conduct test result walkthrough to business.
- Ensure end to end testing deliverables, phase/cycles are completed on time and within budget and ensure data is available and the quality of Test data is fit for purpose.
- Promote re-use through implementation of shared testing artefacts.
- Evaluate information gathered from multiple sources from a testing perspective and carry out impact analysis across projects and platforms and write appropriate automated regression test scenarios.
- Capture defects and retest remediated defect till closure. Conduct Root Cause Analysis for Defects and create action plan to avoid defects in future. Conduct Test result walkthrough to business.
- Support testing for PVT and Production issues as required.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Knowledge of testing methodologies, strategies and software project lifecycle.
- Experience with the following tools/technologies: SQL, Cucumber, Selenium, Tosca, Python, REST API, JIRA, Java, Business Driven Development.
- Experience working in DevOps team and Agile ways of working.
- Experience working in Functional testing, API testing, Automation testing and performance testing.
- Good communication in English and interpersonal skills.
- Team management and coordination experience.
- Ability to build and maintain good working relationships. Customer focused.
- Proactive and self-motivated attitude. Good analysis and problem-solving skills. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
