Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.  

The role holder will work closely with the People Capability Leadership, HR IT, HR Architecture teams and relevant suppliers to drive innovation, connectivity, and compliance across skills landscape, underpinned by technology and data architectural designs, maximizing the use of our core platforms, and ensuring alignment to the business outcomes and priorities.

In this role you will be responsible for:

•    Creating, and maintaining the People Capability Architecture (including LMS, Degreed and Gloat), aligned to the People Capability strategy, which is aligned with HR’s Future State Architecture.
•    Embedding HR Service Design principles, which encapsulate the goals of the HR functional strategy, and its current implementation
•    Third Party Product innovation and development: maintain strong relationships with vendor strategic suppliers to HSBC, with the objective of informing, and influencing product strategies such that they are aligned and in the interest of HSBC
•    Drive compliance to the HR Transformation Change Governance and Data Governance
•    Coordinate the GSOs, other HR and HR IT stakeholders to ensure new and changed solutions, are optimal, implications are fully understood, and have been appropriately impact assessed, and any necessary mitigation is carried out before deployment
•    Facilitating the SaaS vendors systems releases, ensuring items are reviewed against the business backlog and priorities and implemented effective prioritized with the GSO and IT community to issue fully alignment with strategy and /or operational or functional issue resolution

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Experience in business architecture, process analysis, or a related role within the learning and talent management domain.
•    Experience working in a Global environment, with familiarity of standard HR Service Delivery Model, Service Management, Change Management and HR Transformation Changes. 
•    Strong understanding of learning and talent management systems and applications (SuccessFactors, Service Now and Degreed preferred).
•    Proficiency in process mapping and data flow analysis tools.
•    Experience with central governance frameworks and practices.
•    Familiarity with data privacy and security regulations.
•    Ability to act as liaison conveying information in suitably accurate models (e.g. business requirements, data constraints, business rules, etc.) between HR and IT
