The internship offers a great opportunity to gain experience in all the key bank activities and to participate in project deployment, risk management and day to day operations/reporting. At the same time, the job holder can learn more about the international banking industry as well as the working environment of a global corporation. You will gain experience in preparation of the internal communication and analytical materials.  

Your day will never be the same as each project/initiative is unique. You will also engage with stakeholders across the bank (local and offshore colleagues). It is expected to have several tasks at once and very good prioritization and communication skills are required. You will not be involved in meetings with clients and sales activities.

In this role you will:

• Providing administration support to Front office 

• Performing internal controls and assisting with operational risk management

• Preparing presentations and management information

• Conduct area oversight and periodical reporting of key KPIs

• Communication with onshore and offshore HSBC partners

• Assist with the outsourcing agenda for the branch

• Are a finance/Economics/Marketing focused University student fluent in both spoken & written Czech and English (Czech native speaker preferable)

• Are a team-player, ownership of tasks, responsibility, orientation on detail

• Can multi-task and meet deadlines within our corporate banking team

• Have advance knowledge of MS, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
