The Digital Marketing Services Manager will be part of the website management support for public and staff website creation and revamps, playing a pivotal role in the realisation of HSBC businesses’ and functions’ goals.    

 

The Opportunity:  

The Website management team provides a range of services which support Group marketing teams and website owners to effectively deliver their messages online. The Digital Marketing Services Manager will work closely with management of staff and public channels to implement optimisation strategies as well as to actively audit and analyse Group websites to mitigate risk, enhance effectiveness, user experience and the sites’ overall quality. The role may be required to be available at short notice for the deployment of emergency notices/announcements, out-of-hours, weekends, or holidays.   

 

What you’ll do:     

  • The Digital Marketing Services Manager will be responsible for strategy development and implementation of marketing efforts for HSBC owned websites and apps. The successful candidate will identify opportunities for improvement and provide data-driven strategic insights to maximize customer conversions and ecommerce revenue. The Digital Marketing Services Manager also serves as a subject matter expert on a variety of digital marketing tools for web analytics, optimization, SEO, tag management, content management and customer relationship management platforms.
  • The role requires the ability to connect with business and functions to understand marketing goals and be able to      deliver through the implementation of various digital marketing technology. The role also requires ability to capitalize on data to be able to generate actionable insights and provide recommendations to enhance digital marketing strategies and grow digital presence.
  • Digital Marketing Services Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams within the business and functions to implement digital marketing strategies as well as to actively audit, escalate and support in the resolution of issues identified to mitigate risks, enhance effectiveness, improve user experience and sites’ overall quality.
  • The Digital Marketing Services Manager will support team’s development through project opportunities, training, and coaching sessions. The role requires to be up to date to latest trend in marketing technologies and align them with business requirements.
  • The Digital Marketing Services Manager is expected to assist and/or report to the identified chapter lead within the service. The chapter lead will then be responsible for performance review against team’s goals, supporting the Tribe lead in making sure the overall goals and strategic alignment both on the service and business are met.
Requisitos

What you will need to succeed in the role:       

  • Should have post-secondary education – either at the degree level or a relevant professional diploma or certificate.
  • Knowledgeable on basic HTML.
  • At least 2 years of experience on Digital Marketing field and have previously managed large websites to support wider marketing strategy collaborating with UX design, development, and marketing teams.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the marketing disciplines such as SEO, tag management, website analytics, website optimization, lead generation, paid search, social media, etc.
  • Industry standards and best practices in marketing technologies to be applied into the ways of working of Business and Functions supported.
  • Technical expertise in key areas of operating Digital Production Services, especially on technology standards, Agile methodology and adoption of Operational Excellence in all service areas.
  • Software proficiency on SEO tools, web analytics platform, customer relationship management platforms (CRM), content management platforms (CMS), data management (GCP, BigQuery), etc.
  • Ability to create standardised processes to reduce error and provide a consistent service across Business and Functions supported.
  • Knowledge on streamlining activities to optimize technology investments.
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications ie Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Able to work under pressure and ability to meet deadlines
  • Able to work as part of a team or as an individual.
  • Able to lead and manage a team.
  • Maintains composure and professionalism in a fast-paced work atmosphere.
  • Flexibility in working different shifts when required.
  • Available to work overtime on weeknights and weekends if necessary.
