We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist . 

Business: Wholesale IT  

Principal responsibilities

  • Carry out detailed requirements analysis on sprint scope, test strategy selection and automation preparation
  • Design, Lead team to implement re-usable testing automation in sprint under quality standards
  • Work with test members on sprint/release regression test with high automation coverage
  • Innovate usage and performance of existent automation code
  • Coordinate with diff role stakeholders and drive for issues resolution
  • Cooperate with global test team on automation design, task plan, status reporting
  • Foresee, Identify potential risks and monitor mitigation plan execution in project testing
  • Participate to research and development in the new technical methodologies in automating manual testing
  • Provide consultant to other test teams on automation architecture and work efficiency optimisation
  • Hold knowledge share activities and keep uplift test capability in test teams of whole Commercial Banking IT product line
  • Responsible for adherence to relevant organizational processes
Requirements
  • A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
  • At least 8 years of technical experience in Java, J2EE, Spring, SQL, WAS, MQ, etc.
  • Banking IT experience is an advantage
  • Business knowledge in commercial bank (especially Commercial Banking IT) will be an advantage
  • Fluent English speaking and professional business writing skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills and documentation skills
  • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative
  • Able to work independently and effectively under pressure 
  • Able to adapt in global team culture and communication in different locations
  • Good understanding and experience on SDLC, Agile and DevOps
  • Open-minded, reliable and independent
