We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist.

 

Business:  Markets & Sec Services IT 

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Acting as a Technical Lead and Solution Architect for services in Traded Risk Shared Services
  • Building, Testing, and Supporting micro-services that manage business processes for data management and data transformation
  • Providing technical leadership to the agile team in impact analysis, design, development, testing automation, implementation and on-ongoing maintenance
  • Driving the adoption of Cloud for Shared Services
  • Working closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to drive the solution for business outcomes
  • Active participation in planning and rollout of large scale releases
Requirements
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with major in Computer Science or related field
  • A minimum of 15 years’ experience in IT software engineering
  • Solid experience in Java and Python
  • Experience in Scala is an advantage
  • Experience in SQL, JSON processing libs and REST APIs very helpful; XML libs also very helpful
  • Experience in cloud computing
  • Experience and understanding on DevOps and Agile
  • Very comfortable with Unix in general; Familiar with Unix performance measurement
  • Familiarity with HBASE and Parquet is a plus
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling, Jenkins, Ansible
  • Experience with products Oracle, Postgres, and MongoDB a plus
  • Interest in technical problems stemming in business requirements
  • Good to have Data Analytics skills (as will be dealing with processing of large data sets)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, experience presenting technical choices
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – self-motivated and pro-active worker
