We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President Wealth Sales Training Management.

Role Purpose:
 
• The individual shall be responsible for supporting the organization’s key strategic priorities related to Wealth Products sales skills development. 
• The individual will ensure that the end-to-end process of sales training module design is implemented, governed, and monitored.
• The individual will collaborate and consult key stakeholders across the organization in terms of new or revised systems and sales processes that impact Wealth Products sales.
• The individual will train, coach, and mentor new joiners of sales roles with Wealth Referral KPI’s, which include Wealth Relationship Managers, Insurance Specialists, 

Premier Direct Relationship Managers, Universal Bankers, and Premier Relationship Officers.

Principal Accountabilities:

Impact on the Business 

Wealth Product Referral Participation

•Support WPB revenue plan achievement by sustaining Wealth Referral participation across various WPB sales roles such as, Wealth Relationship Managers, Insurance Specialists, Premier Direct Relationship Managers, Universal Bankers, and Premier Relationship Officers.
• Conduct impactful, engaging, and cost-efficient sales training and development programs within agreed standards and timeline.
• Improve current systems and methodologies to ensure that current sales training programs are competitive in the industry.
• Provide regular post-program summary and attendance reports to Team Leads, Retail Branch Heads, and Sales Heads.
• Ensure that the WBP sales force is properly informed about the schedule of upcoming programs by providing Sales Training calendars and regular communications with the Team Leads, Retail Branch Heads, and Sales Heads.
• Use creativity to generate interest and enthusiasm among the WBP sales force to drive attendance and participation. 

Customers / Stakeholders 

  WPB Sales and Marketing Support

• Manage internal stakeholders such as Team Leads, Retail Branch Heads, and Sales Heads, as well as external partners such as Allianz PNB Life.
• Guide and Mentor new joiners of sales roles with Wealth Referral KPI’s, which include Wealth Relationship Managers, Insurance Specialists, Premier Direct Relationship Managers, Universal Bankers, and Premier Relationship Officers.
• Conduct Sales Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to identify knowledge gaps and implement training programs as interventions.
• Build business review packs and participate during the actual reviews.
• Timely and accurate submission of Sales Training Reports and handover documents (Sales Training Dashboards, Sales Training Calendar, etc

Leadership & Teamwork

Cross Functional Coordination for Sales Training

• Evaluate programs implemented, both by HSBC and its business partners, and identify relevant learning opportunities to further improve succeeding modules using pre-agreed metrics, evaluation summaries, qualitative feedback and/or learning application measures.
• Keep communication lines open to give and receive feedback from the WPB sales force, Wealth Team, and HSBC’s business partners, to measure and evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of executed sales training programs.

Operational Effectiveness & Control

Process Improvements

• Review and recommend procedures and policies to enhance Wealth Sales training administration.
• Enhance and revise sales training modules based on relevance and effectiveness.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending professional development workshops, establishment networks, and benchmarking best practices.
Information
Requirements
 
• Graduate of bachelor's degree course preferably in Communication, Marketing, or any related course
• Minimum 3 years' experience in life insurance training.
• Capability to analyze financial priorities, influencing customers to take appropriate action to meet their needs.
• Possess a broad understanding of financial and insurance planning, adept at defining and addressing diverse customer needs.
• Understanding of affluent customer segment needs.

Skills

• Experienced in Sales Training Module Design
• Excellent English communication skills both oral and written
• Proficient in MS Office
• Strong analytical and automation skills.
• Excellent relationship and cross-functional skills.
• Experience in developing and optimizing customer journeys aligned with campaign and business objectives.
• Customer-driven with a strong focus on service quality.
• Clear understanding of value creation within the Affluent segment, both for customers and the bank.
