IT Service Delivery Manager – HBEU IT role has a unique opportunity to lead Design, Build, Delivery and be responsible for ongoing IT Service Ownership of HBEU products, services and/or platforms. This position involves regular interaction with senior stakeholders and various Global IT teams in different geographies, hence allows you to fully leverage your influencing skills, managerial awareness and technical credibility. Additionally, your expertise will also help us shape Regional Portfolio to continuously deliver and operate strategic products and platforms across EU.
What you’ll do
- Be responsible for the ongoing supply and support of the IT services owned and provide a single point of contact for those services in line with standard IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Service Lifecycle phases, namely Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operation and Continual Service Improvement.
- Maintain control environment ensuring quality is never compromised. Update all inventory tools to maintain service and application information.
- Ensure IT services adherence to Service Level Agreements and stakeholders communication.
- Pro-active planning of service requirements (e.g. Evergreening, planning capacity upgrades) and regularly communicating the benefits and performance of their service to the Business (Product owners).
- Provide subject matter expertise and consultancy to Service Management Disciplines and support to Service Quality Managers and Global Businesses/Global Functions in the promotion and adoption of Service Management best practices.
- Develop a strong working relationship with the business users and management in all supported sites.
- Participate in Change Advisory Board meetings and propose changes to review – ensure change quality standards are followed. Lead service review, operational meetings and continuous improvement opportunities.
- ServiceNow: create dashboards, support users in queries around the Change, Incident and Problem disciplines.
What you need to have to succeed in this role
- Proven experience as an ITSO, Service Manager or Service Delivery Lead.
- Ability to work in a team of a diversified international and in an unstructured and changing environment, competent at managing an ever-changing backlog and can pivot on strategy and priorities when business needs arise.
- Expertise in IT Service Management tools and Strong knowledge of ITIL methodologies or can demonstrate use of such – mostly around SLM, Service Continuity, Information Security Management, Change, Incident & Problem management (ITIL certification nice to have).
- Strong problem solving and organizational capabilities.
- Proficiency in English. We are a diverse company. Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must.
- Other language skills (French/German) can be considered as an advantage.
