Global Procurement is part of GCOO which is a pivotal part of the Group, providing essential operational support to our global businesses and Functions in helping improve customer service and efficiency. 
 
The Global Procurement Operations Improvement team helps shape and implement Global Procurement strategic change for our customers (internal and external third parties) delivering outcomes that help HSBC achieve its strategic priorities and add value to its customers. The team brings execution skills, design led approach and deliver at pace to translate and achieve the desired business outcomes on large, complex, cross-business and function projects including local regulatory initiatives.
Within a value stream approach, the Implementation, working closely with Change Lead, Analyst will be accountable for the requirement and execution of key strategic change programmes across Global Procurement Services including Source to Contract, Procure to Pay, Third Party Management including Supplier Management and other key areas.


What you’ll do
    • Work with Global Procurement Operations Improvement to define, assess and understand requirements aligned to the strategic outcomes of project.
    • Support the definition of high-level requirements for any programme of work, requirements life cycle management/solution design, programme management with impact assessment for change requests.
    • Support initiative and Portfolio governance in line with Change Framework requirements.
    • Be responsibility for documenting detailed requirements. 
    • Work closely with project team and delivery stakeholders to ensure smooth change delivery and establish relationships with key project stakeholders.
    • Support of change and operations improvement activities such as early change planning and audience analysis through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g., communications, training, support, organization alignment).
    • Create of end-to-end process maps supporting requirements.
    • Understand procurement data, perform analytics and understand how it flows within Procurement systems.


What you need to have to succeed in this role 
    • Experience in gathering requirements, business analysis and/or conducting design activity,
    • Experience analysing and documenting business processes,
    • Business Analysis skills gained in financial services environment,  
    • Experience in change initiatives and an understanding of the full project life cycle,
    • Strong business requirements and process analysis skills, 
    • Process mapping tools experience, 
    • Excellent confidence in using MS products including MS Excel / MS Visio / MS PowerPoint,
    • Exposure to change and improvement implementation techniques and approaches.
