Work Location: Pune

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and accountable for production support for Billing and to Identify opportunities to improve automation opportunities, have the governance process to reduce risk and ensure effective and timely decisions. 
  • Provide support in identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT service and keep up-to-date and have expertise on current tools and technologies. 
  • Manage the reporting of progress, issues, dependencies, and risks to committees and make recommendations to influence decision making to maintain progress towards delivery and benefits realization. 
  • Working closely with various stakeholders located in different places in the world, Reviewing, designing, and re-engineering processes with new technologies to improve performance,
  • Designing and driving the implementation of service offerings, capability uplifts and process improvements, Evaluating, developing and applying appropriate tools to analyse the architecture,
  • Perform data analysis of key problem areas to assist in root cause analysis and data reconciliations to identify data anomalies,
  • Contributing productively to team objectives, sometimes supporting and sometimes leading activities to achieve shared goals.
  • Look after weekend releases, be part of IR calls to manage prod changes. Work with vendor for effective management of changes going in prod env.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of ORMB product, modules, config, and functionalities in billing domain, and strong billing & revenue management business skill set. 
  • Should have good communication skills, capable to analyze the requirement in detail and identify the gaps if any at initial stage and highlight it. Coordinating technology teams/pods in managing incidents and problems. Analyzing incidents to identify root cause trends. 
  • Experience of high frequency change, specifically adoption, engineering, and execution of automated CICD pipelines understanding of Unix and Shell scripting. Ensuring all non-functional requirements facing technology and service infrastructure are always met.
  • Working with technology teams/pods to devise action plans to prevent incident re-occurrence 
    Representing IT at Incident Management Community of Practice meetings and other Service Management and Enterprise Technology meetings. 
  • Proven triage capability under pressure, able to make strong priority judgement at runtime balancing contending demands,
  • Strong understanding of technology layers in application landscape, storage, OS, network, database, application. Ability to problem solve, dive deep to address issues, drive performance diagnosis and/or lead debugging and troubleshooting activities.
  • Technically inquisitive with progressive interest in modern engineering disciplines and techniques. Demonstrable, excellent, spoken & written communication skills across global organization. Experience of managing a wide spectrum of stakeholders and show ability to manage upwards. Experience in managing the technical team.
  • Understanding of customers' needs and delivering excellent customer service. Experience in Agile/ DevOps environment and in assisting in production support. Ability to lead technical conversations with various technical support groups.
