Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.  

The overall purpose of the role is to provide business analysis and automation solution design expertise as part of the HR Transformation Team.

This role provides business analyst end to end skills in support of BAU changes and HR Programmes.

In this role you will be responsible for:

•    Managing the capture, analysis and documentation of HR related user journeys and processes
•    Analysing HR processes, identify automation opportunities, reengineer process to improve automation potential
•    Developing detailed As Is and To Be Process Description (PD) and Solution Design Document (SDD)
•    Working with the HR stakeholders and other teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures throughout automation opportunities implementation
•    Acting as a solutions functional expert
•    Maintaining awareness of operational risk and minimise the likelihood of it occurring, through process review and QA including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with the HSBC Risk Management Framework.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Business analysis skills from requirements to implementation delivery
•    Implementation experience of Core HR and Service Management technologies (preferably SuccessFactors and Service Now)
•    Exposure and experience with both Agile and Design thinking methodologies
•    Experience of working in a global environment with teams in multiple locations
•    Experience in HR with a strong understanding of the impact HR processes have upon HR Systems
