What are the Areas?
IWPB – Customer Value Management - Liabilities Team
Customer Value Management is vital in maintaining HSBC’s position as a provider of world-class wealth and personal banking solutions, directing business development with a focus on customers. The team works to ensure the most appropriate pricing, products and promotions are directed to the most relevant customers, concentrating on building value, treating customers fairly and creating a seamless customer experience.
Liabilities team manages deposit related aspects of the bank for retail customers, this primarily includes term deposits, current and savings accounts. Further all regulatory related activities are also under our purview.
Principal Responsibilities
- Monthly activities on liability (deposit) products, including certain reconciliations and administrative tasks on customer communications.
- Conduct data analysis to support drive liability related objectives and conduct data processing, data entry activities.
- Support clean-up activities related to liability products and complete the activities with precision.
- Document management - disseminating information, drafting presentations and documents file and document management.
- Record administration in maintaining records, information resources and data sources.
- Conduct market analysis, competitor checks on liability related areas.
Requirements
- Following a degree or a Professional Qualification in Business/Finance or Marketing.
- Fluent in MS Excel, MS Power Point & analytical skills.
- Penultimate year undergraduate from a reputable local or overseas university
- Applicants pursing professional or other qualifications must have completed at least one year of their course successfully
- Fresh graduates with total work experience that is less than 12 months
- Legally permitted to work in Sri Lanka
- Be fluent in English and have strong communication skills
