Role Purpose

The Egypt Head of CTO Colleague & Collaboration is accountable to the country CIO and Regional Head of C&C for ensuring effective delivery of CTO Colleague & Collaboration in the country. He / She will carry out the following activities:

  • Lead the Colleague & Collaboration IT teams to meet functional goals in the country
  • Collaborate with the country heads of CTO functions, and other peer managers to implement function goals within entity policy, expense and regulatory constraints
  • Support peers in the Egypt CTO function to deliver functional goals in line with CTO strategy, priorities and budgets
  • Responsible for providing support to country CIO / Technology heads when necessary on matters relating to relevant Colleague & Collaboration activities at the country level
  • Accountable for regional and global Colleague & Collaboration programs being delivered into Egypt
  • Accountable to country CIO and Regional head of the function to ensure resilient, high quality services are being delivered within the region
  • Responsible for service performance of end-to-end services delivered within the region (e.g. service SLA, MTTR, etc.)
  • Responsible for driving implementation, governing risk responsibly, promoting ethical management of risks, communicating changes in policy and governance effectively, and ensuring in country regulatory processes and procedures are adhered to
  • Accountable for Budget management including direct cost and headcount management
  • Responsible to ensure the Healthy Human system is widely understood and lived by people within the team
  • Responsible to ensure that members of the Technology Coalition can operate in a supportive environment
  • Responsible for Business relationships to ensure successful technology solutions can be deployed and implemented
Requirements

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

The job holder will be accountable for and should have knowledge and experience in these specific technology domains:

  • Technology User Experience
  • IT Express Centre
  • Global Helpdesk liaison
  • End User deskside Support (Executive and Standard)
  • Endpoint Security, Endpoint Patching, 3rd level Support etc.
  • Managed Printing Services
  • Collaboration Technologies (AV / VC, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Mobile etc.)
  • Experience of performing lead roles within technology / infrastructure functions
  • Existing experience in Colleague & Collaboration would be very desirable
  • Strong relationship management capabilities with an ability to engage, influence and collaborate with stakeholders across organizational boundaries enabling the delivery of high standard outcomes
  • Current strong relationship with Egypt business, COO and CIO, is advantageous
  • Experience of working within a large, complex and geographically dispersed organization including matrix management structure and across time zones
  • An influential thought leader with extensive experience of working within IT infrastructure and customer facing functions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in line with HSBC standards including acting with integrity and ethically
