  • Services offered by Delivery & Strategy:
  • Governance, Insights & Standards: Oversee the Group DAO Strategy and the governance co-ordination for DAO
  • Data Change & Portfolio Management: Oversee the Change the Bank investment and execution
  • Business Performance Management: Manage DAO’s financials and headcount
  • Function Management: Manage the Data engagement and communications across the bank
  • Data Risk & Controls Services: Oversee the Data controls
  • Global COO to support execution of the Regulatory Compliance Data Strategy and assist in putting data at the forefront of the Regulatory Compliance agenda.
  • Regulatory Compliance have recently created a Data team within Compliance CDO to execute against the Compliance CDO Data Strategy. This role will be involved in a number of areas to support the execution and includes:
  • Data Quality & Improvement
  • Data Landscape & Data Simplification
  • Policy & Governance
  • Data Analysis
  • The data team supports a number of RC Services including Assurance, Risk Strategy, Policy & Governance and specialist services such as Surveillance and Conflicts.

The Opportunity:

  • Meeting Readiness: Ensure the DAO ExCo members are prepared, supported and have adequate time to input / challenge before every meeting.
  • Internal Engagement: Ensure the DAO ExCo members have a robust internal engagement plan including leadership meetings, townhalls, skip level sessions, exchanges etc.
  • External Engagement: Ensure the DAO ExCo members have a robust strategic agenda as it relates to external events, memberships and external engagement.  
  • Local Site Management Support: Provide support to local management initiatives.

What you’ll do:

Impact on the Business

  • Support the DAO ExCo members to ensure they are prepared, supported and have adequate time to input / challenge before every meeting.
  • Ensure the DAO ExCo members have a robust internal engagement plan including leadership meetings, townhalls, skip level sessions, exchanges etc.
  • Ensure the DAO ExCo members have a robust strategic agenda as it relates to external events, memberships and external engagement.  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across DAO.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps, standard operating procedures, and work instructions. Conduct process assessments to identify areas of improvement and opportunities.
  • In-depth working knowledge and experience with Microsoft tools, especially Outlook and Teams.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner.
  • Risk and control deficiencies are well articulated and highlighted to owners and decision makers, including relevant governance forums.

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • 7 – 10 years of proven and progressive experience at a financial institution or comparable environment.
  • Experience in supporting, communicating with and providing assistance to senior managers in a multinational organisation with proven ability to demonstrate integrity and judgment in handling sensitive matters.
  • Proficiency in MS office suite with expertise in Outlook/Teams/Excel/ PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to work and communicate with senior management to understand the pressures, challenges and demands on a given function and create solutions to address those items.
  • Exceptionally strong organizational, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and respond to changing and varied demands. Recognise and act upon timely escalation of issues.
  • Demonstrate professionalism at all times and be resilient when working under pressure.
