Human Resources leads the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. We facilitate talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.  

The purpose of this role is to ensure the function is compliant with global standards vis-a-vis the documentation of processes and process controls.  

This role provides support to HR Leaders and their teams, in terms of process expertise in tools, methodology, QA, support of process documentation and will manage the upload of processes into Group Standard tools.

In this role you will:

•    Develop and manage HR capability for process and process documentation in line with Group Business Architecture standards
•    Manage and prioritize the backlog in line with MSII commitments & the needs of new Programmes and small changes with impact to process
•    Ensure effective reporting of progress, issues, dependencies and risks to MSII or other plan closure.
•    With support of the HR BRCM teams, ensure the controls are properly referenced in by Control Owners, flagged for SOX and mapped to processes   
•    Maintain awareness of operational risk and minimise the likelihood of it occurring, through process review and QA including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with the HSBC Risk Management Framework.
•    Provide expertise and support to HR GSOs and SMEs in understanding process standards and work with them and their teams to identify capability needs and support them to follow and comply with governance and standards

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Experience in and knowledge of HR & Payroll processes, process mapping and standards
•    Knowledge of SOX, process mapping and risk and control management
•    Knowledge of the Global businesses and broad understanding of the role of HR in an organization
•    Experience in large scale, global organisations
•    Strong communication and stakeholder management skills 
•    Experience / Certification of Agile Project Management methodology 
•    Application of Design Thinking Methodology

This role is based in London or Sheffield.
