Investment Assistant - Global Operations

Our Digital Business Services teams are the foundation of HSBC, providing essential support across technology, operations and key central business services for our global businesses and functions. This includes running customer operations, delivering innovative digital solutions for customers and colleagues, managing bank-wide change, and central services such as procurement and real estate management. The teams play a vital role in driving great experiences for customers and colleagues, and enabling the bank’s strategy.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Investment Assistant.

 

In this role, you will:

 

·       Recognise and maximise opportunities to cross-sell products/promote awareness of other product offerings, enhancing the reputation and brand of M&S Bank

·       Administer and maintain customer accounts in accordance with customer instructions, procedural and regulatory requirements.

·       Compliance with regulatory guidelines & time-scales

·       Identifying and progressing areas for personal development

·       Meeting agreed performance objectives, core standards and ways of working

·       Maintaining continuous personal development record in conjunction with FCA guidelines through training.

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

·       A background working with M&S Bank products

·       Experience of dealing with customers/third parties via the telephone.

·       Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite

·       Detailed knowledge of Savings and Investments Industry

·       M&S Bank system knowledge e.g. Co-Stars, SOCS, Servebase 

·       High level of written and verbal communication skills
