The Corporate Client Group (CCG) & Wealth Client Group Country Specialist drives the financial and strategic performance of clients who work with HSBC on both the Private and Wholesale (RBWM, Global Banking Markets and Commercial Banking) sides of the Bank.

The role coordinates the flow of revenue and clients between GPB & RBWM/Commercial Banking/Global Banking Markets and grows the income generated from those mutual customers, with an aim of both widening and deepening the relationship with the Group.

In this role you will:

  • For a particular geography and/or RBWM/Commercial Banking/Global Banking Markets segment area this role drives the development and communicates the positioning of GPB collaboration strategy in a manner which wins business and maximizes the flow of revenue to both stakeholders and the common clients.
  • Ensure adequate management of local financial reporting and sales/activity management infrastructure within the allocated geography area/business segment, coordinating with RBWM, Commercial Banking &Global Banking Markets to ensure that this is consistent and drives performance.
  • Support alignment of finite GPB (and other) resource into the strategically significant population- evolving a distinctive and attractive proposition to drive clients to the Bank.
  • Support the evolution of appropriate robust governance and risk management.
  • Identify and eliminate both strategic and operational barriers to facilitate business. Some client contact may be necessary but not direct Relationship Management.
Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Clear and demonstrated understanding of the major financial products and services available within Private Banking and detailed knowledge of the RBWM, Commercial Banking/Global Banking Markets propositions is essential with experience Commercial Banking being the key priority
  • Detailed understanding of the principles behind Commercial Banking & Global Banking Markets rewards systems & RBWM Incentive Framework - essential
  •  Ability to interpret, manipulate and presentation numerical data in a way that can be understood by senior stakeholders - essential
  • Proven track record in project management - essential
  • Well organised working approach with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build strong internal relationships

This role will be based in Leeds, Manchester or Liverpool, and will require some travel to sites across the Northern Regions.
