We are currently seeking a professional individual to join this team in the role of: Relationship Manager
 
This role is responsible for servicing and maintaining a large portfolio of relationships, dealing with the Primary Account Managers (PAO’s) and their support teams within HSBC Private Banking.

In this role, you will:
 
•    Promptly answer all questions raised by the PAO teams and providing a first class, private banking service.
•    Assist with the servicing of a portfolio of clients booked in Guernsey, to include input / release of payments, periodic reviews and client general servicing, on a proactive basis.
•    Support the team with achieving their key performance indicators whilst developing positive working relationships with internal stakeholders, CLM team, Operations, Compliance and Risk where appropriate to improve the overall client experience.
•    Build effective partnerships and network internally and effectively with PAO’s to develop and grow new business
•    Help to grow the portfolio, working closely with the UK based, Relationship Manager

Requirements

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
 
•    An understanding of discretionary, advisory, custody, lending and execution only investment trading with knowledge of relevant asset classes such as Equities, Bonds and FX and an understanding of how they are traded and priced is essential
•    Knowledge of international is payments is preferred with experience of Trust, Corporate and Foundation structures, including documentation requirements, UBO source of wealth and relevant tax documents, is beneficial
•    Ability to work under pressure and multitask whilst adapting to changing priorities.
•    A team player who has the ability to work collaboratively with all teams within the business, with exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills and an ethical mindset.
•    A CISI Level 4 qualification is highly advantageous
