Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) ambition is to become Australia’s #1 International Retail Bank, to focus on the internationalist customer and to build a progressive bank for the future. This role will support HSBC Australia’s Wealth and Personal Banking business and will be responsible for requirements, design, change and implementation management. You will work collaboratively with delivery partners and subject matter experts in gathering, translating and clarifying requirements and designing options for implementation, then defining and working with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of an agreed program of work.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Working on agile project methodologies and tools to ensure program deliverables and timelines are met.
- Define requirements, business solutions implementation plans and assist with program delivery
- Manages the change implementation activities, project reporting and delivery and handover including business readiness assessment
- Works with stakeholders to agree solutions, and drive delivery on time and within project budget
- Supports the program management and reporting
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Finance and/or business-related field.
- Extensive experience in implementing change, including defining business requirements, stakeholder management, with a mix of business, operations and technology focused projects
- Excellent communication, inter-personal and negotiating skills with decision making and problem solving ability
- Strong experience in delivering change into different audiences and managing implementation in banking or finance environment.
- Knowledge of the Banking Code of Practice, National Credit Code, Debit Collection and Hardship Best Practice would be advantageous.
- An improvement mindset to identify and define issues or problems that are less obvious
Preference will be given to candidates who hold Australian PR/Citizenship or New Zealand Citizenship, or who can demonstrate current unrestricted work rights in Australia without limitations.
