The responsibility of the Fund Settlement team is to settle all transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, switches) that have been initiated by Front Office and placed with funds administrators by the Fund Dealing Team. The team is processing different type of products/orders: Long only, Hedge Funds, Internal application and mandates. All transactions related to Fundsettle are most of the time STP except for some cases (switch manual booking, client blocked or when there is a difference in the value date).


The Opportunity: 

The Funds Settlement Officer has as main objective to guaranty the efficiency and timely accounting of all transactions received by the Dealing team on Hedge Funds and Mutual funds.

She/he closely and complementarily collaborates with Funds department teams.


What you’ll do:

  • Guaranty the efficient and timely processing of all orders (subscriptions and redemptions) received from the Dealing in respect of existing procedures.
  • Verify, store all kind of documents (contract notes, statements) and perform a proper follow-up when required.
  • Process call backs in a timely manner and raise issues as quicly as possible.
  • Provide efficient, timely and precise responses to all inquiries raised by external counterparties and internal departments.
  • Ensure that all rules, procedures and standards are strictly applied.

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Knowledge of the banking industry.
  • Computer skills: MS Office.
  • Analytical skills and well organized.
  • Good communication skills, team player and client oriented.


What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Commercial degree, CFC bancaire or equivalent. Ideally 2 years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of French or any other language would be a plus.
