The Opportunity:
- Assist claims manager/team leader in preparation of BAU/ad hoc reports.
- Handle internal & external enquiry on need basis.
- Uplift claims related capability by internal/external training and authority uplift framework.
What you’ll do:
- College degree or above.
- Excellent communication skills in spoken and written English.
- Excellent team worker.
- High integrity and professionalism.
- Strong interpersonal communication ability.
- LOMA certificate is preferred.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
- Provide assistance or help to other staffs / supervisor.
- Handle some administration works.
What you will need to succeed in the role:
- Maintaining high quality Insurance business requirement with reduced unplanned business impact in an environment of increasing volume of service change, enhanced regulatory oversight and stringent cost management whilst boosting business growth / opportunity.
- Working with business lines and functions to understand and ensure transparency in business / regulatory requirement from a customer perspective, in the language of the business and clearly articulating the business impact and cost of service problems.
- Being sensible on effective management of incident handling to enable root cause analysis for remedial actions / preventive measures and timely management reporting.
- Assisting Manager to manage third parties (i.e. different legal entity) to operate in conformance with HSBC standards.
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators.
- Foster a compliance culture and implement Group Compliance Policy by managing compliance risk in liaison with the Head of Group Compliance, Regional Compliance Officer, Area Compliance Officer or Local Compliance Officer, ensuring adequate compliance resources are in place and training is provided, and optimising relations with regulator.
