We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist 

  • Implement all development activities like design, code development, unit testing, code quality checks, build and deploy.


  • Represent engineering lead at Scrum meetings and all other key project meetings and provide a single point of accountability

  • Establish effective working relationships across other areas of HSBC, e.g. Business Product Owner, Delivery Lead, SRE, and IT teams.

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability for quality deliverables and engineering related activities within the agile development lifecycle.

  • Ability to resolve engineering related impediments together with the scrum team
    Strong organizational awareness and a detailed understanding of our Business and the client

  • Actively participate on application support activities whenever required
    Sound domain knowledge on Open Banking (UK/China/Middle East/North America) would be preferred.  

 

Requisitos

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 8+ years of technology experience with project development and delivery in Agile model 

  • Strong Experience with Java, Spring Boot and microservices.

  • Hands on experience with REST based services and API development

  • Strong experience of postman and API lifecycle

  • Hands on experience on AWS Cloud (Cloudwatch, Lambda, APIgateway, VPC, KMS)

  • Hands on experience with Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines

  • Experience with OAuth 2.0 and OpenAPI would be preferred
