The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support to the Head of US Global Trade Solutions and the broader US leadership team and contribute to wider business projects as required. The administrative nature of the role requires the role holder to exercise discretion, confidentiality and diplomacy in their day-to-day remit and possess sufficient expertise to appropriately support their executive.


As our Analyst and Business Support you will:

  • Organize schedules, maintaining diaries, arranging travel and accommodation

  • Prepare and submit complex executive level expense reports in an accurate and timely manner with a thorough knowledge of the expense management system

  • Maintain the utmost level of confidentiality in all aspects of work and interaction with their superior/executive and others as needed

  • Coordinate activities, events, resources, meetings, services and managing internal and external stakeholders

  • Support administration, by composing presentations, drafting reports and assisting with key documents such as business plans which requires working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint and Excel

  • Manage external relationships and service providers, including regulatory stakeholders and other senior parties requiring highly sensitive handling and communication

  • Act as gatekeeper or primary point of contact roles for an area

  • Be comfortable working outside of traditional working hours where necessary


For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $86,700.00 and $130,100.00

The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

  • Solid executive support experience with proven track record in serving senior executives and a team
     

  • Proficient in computer applications including Word, Excel and Powerpoint, Fusion etc
     

  • Mature, strong organizational and time management skills
     

  • Able to handle multi tasks and work independently under pressure
     

  • Strong analytical skills with good business acumen
     

  • Think critically and proactively, prioritize items that need attention and offer solutions to problems
     

  • A good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
