We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Architecture Manager.

Principal responsibilities 
The Lead Architect acts as the lead technical authority for the design and development of solutions, taking advantage of technologies, architectures and methods to organise and interrogate huge volumes of unstructured data.  The role will:
Manage and govern HSBC’s Digital service offerings acting as the liaison between the all stakeholders responsible for delivery of Digital solutions using Agile methods
Partner with HSBC’s business and developers in ensuring the possibilities afforded by the emergence of Cloud/SaaS offerings are understood
Advise on technical best practice for Digital solutions from software selection through to technical architectures and implementation processes
Identify & evaluate 3rd party products (e.g. archiving, encryption, access management) which help fill gaps within the service offering
Advise on design and development throughout iterations of delivery from a technical perspective
Perform detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and use in designing the solution
Document best practices, guidelines, and training information
Provide thought leadership and practical experience in the design and testing of the Digital solutions 
Requisitos

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
•    A technology oriented degree with over 14 years of IT experience.
•    Experience in delivering solutions in roles other than architecture.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•    Proficiency in communication, English, Cloud technologies, and General AI knowledge.
•    The ability to influence and champion new ideas and technical direction within the organization.
•    Excellent stakeholder management skills.
•    Awareness of Infrastructure Design and concepts, Integration concepts, techniques, and patterns.
•    Knowledge of Data modelling and Data Architecture concepts, APIs, and Messaging infrastructure and standards, with an understanding of security concepts and design.
•    Enterprise Application integration
•    Cluster and parallel compute architectures
•    Programming in Java/ Java GUI, XML/ XSLT, HTML/ Java Script
•    Web applications servers (Apache HTTP Server & Tomcat, IIS, Websphere)
•    End to end agile infrastructure architecture across all layers
•    Passion for technology & understanding how things work 
•    A track record of delivering significant change which improves business effectiveness in sustainable ways
•    Set and achieved challenging short, medium and long term goals which exceeded the standards in their field
•    Proven experience of leading others and creating an environment that supports and inspires people to develop and deliver
•    Excellent written and spoken communication skills with experience of successfully influencing others, negotiating effectively and winning over audiences with compelling and persuasive presentations
•    Built effective networks both internally and externally and created opportunities for others to work collaboratively 
•    A track record of making complex business decisions with authority, even in times of ambiguity, considering the potential long term risks and implications
