We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Manager-Global Middle Office Operations

Role Purpose:

The Global Asset Management, Office team reconciliation team is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of cash inflows/outflows and ensure certainty of positions i.e cash and positions which is provided to Portfolio Managers and Investment teams daily. The team reconciles the Front Office Book of Records vs the Investment Book of Records using MYSS IE tool and resolves any exception based on predefined rules. The team will also play a coordinator role with the local offices and stakeholders who will be responsible for resolving outstanding issues. The role encompasses stakeholder management, execution of daily BAU tasks, and execution of organization strategy.

Broker maintenance – ensure account changes /AUM changes and communication to brokers is proactive and regular, to ensure no trading /credit limits apply to outdated NAVs /fund names. Review broker data to ensure all LEI and related static data identifiers are up to date. Own admin roles for setting up traders on MTF venues.

Main Activities:

  • Global middle office operation team is responsible to ensure that positions and cash data is accurate for the business at the SOD for the Front Office. This will ensure that the Investment Management teams will have the most accurate data to invest.
  • Perform various functions fall under global operation team include transaction management, position management, Oversight management and Derivatives management.
  • Intercompany Fee Billing: calculate final billing and invoices of intercompany agreements. Share and agree with customer.
  • Initiate company's cash wires process and support accounting team with questions related to account movements.
  • Fund Rebates and Revenue Share: Calculate funds fee rebates on 40 Act, GLF and HGIF. Share calculations with customer.
Requisitos
  • 0 to 1 years’ experience in Reconciliations is mandatory and an understanding of the Asset management business is preferred.
  • Understanding of the various asset classes, underlying instruments is mandatory, and the trade life cycle needs to be exhibited.
