We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as a Assistant Manager HR Advisory (Internal Title), Manager HR Advisory (External Title).
Role Purpose
The HR Advisory role provides support to managers, employees and HR Specialists with enquiries and case management handing off to the specialist areas where required. Additionally, the role provides support to change initiatives, HR activities and projects.
In the Philippines, the jobholder’s primary responsibility is to support the employee and industrial relations strategy in order to achieve a harmonious work environment that positively impacts business performance and achievement of Bank’s objectives while maintaining overall employee welfare.
Principal Accountabilities:
- This job will carry out some or all of the following tasks:
- Liaise with HR Head and Senior HR Advisory to implement and update Human Resources employment policies and procedures
- Provides support to HR and line managers to ensure employee relations risk is managed effectively and grievances and disputes are successfully resolved.
- Support Senior HRA in the effective handling of administrative cases, and independently manage simple cases
- Being up-to-date with employment laws to ensure HSBC, management and employees are in compliance
- Support training related to employee relations, as well as compliance with laws and regulation as well as HSBC policies and procedures
- Document management - disseminating information, drafting presentations and documents files and document management
- Support people managers and employees in navigating the spectrum of HR Services with coaching and advice to help resolve queries.
- Relationship manage and co-ordinate support for enquiries that touch multiple areas of HR, this may involve co-ordinating multiple HR specialists to resolve issues.
- Support interpretation of policy and procedures.
- Support change activities for managers and HR colleagues around a broad range of HR Processes.

Requirements and Qualifications
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with different business partners, stakeholders and union officials.
- Sound knowledge in labour legislation
- Good command of written and spoken English and local language
- Organised and follows through initiatives with attention to detail; good records management
- Exercises analytical thinking – recognizes trends and patterns in data and articulate issues
