We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as an Assistant Vice President, Inforce Management.

Principal Responsibilities

In this role you will

  • Inforce Portfolio Management:
    • Lead the monitoring of the in-force portfolio performance across Par, Universal Life, Index Universal Life, Investment Linked and other Non-Par product lines
    • Perform the analysis of key product metrics, including business mix, commissions, claims experience, and premium holiday to identify emerging risks or trends; Oversee the running of actuarial models and analytical tools to provide insights for management
  • Persistency Management:
    • Develop and implement targeted strategies to improve policyholder retention and persistency for new and existing businesses; Identify drivers of persistency and product design considerations that enhance customer affinity
    • Collaborate with customer engagement and distribution teams to execute initiatives that improve policyholder outcomes, enhance service propositions, and address key lapse drivers
  • Strategic Initiatives:
    • Design and price for portfolio initiatives across all life insurance products, including reinsurance; Measure and analyse the effectiveness of strategic initiatives to drive sales and profitability
    • Prepare regular reports on initiatives performance, persistency trends, financial impact, customer behaviour analysis
  • Data & Analytics:
    • Develop a dashboard that tracks product sales performance by distribution channel, customer demographics, and product selection trends
    • Analyse trends to support business decisions and provide actionable insights; Build business cases for campaigns, ensuring they are data-driven, cost-effective, and aligned with strategic objectives
Requisitos

To be successful you will need

  • Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field; Part qualification or significant progress towards actuarial designation
  • Good life insurance actuarial experience; Solid communication and project management abilities
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to assess financial impacts, identify revenue opportunities, and optimize business outcomes
  • Independent learner with strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills; Detail oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality
  • Experience with Prophet, Excel VBA and/or SQL
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability of planning and problem solving; Aptitude to develop cohesive working relationships with key stakeholders
