We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Software Engineering Manager.
Business:Wealth & Personal Banking IT
Principal responsibilities 
Assisting on engagements with Technology companies and various internal teams to form major partnerships and strategic alliances for business.
Implementing differentiated technology capability for our customers and our teams.
Engaging with other functions (e.g., Procurement, Legal) in ensuring effective commercial management and robust governance in evaluating, reviewing, negotiating & on-boarding of these new partnerships / alliances; delivery of the right commercial relationships with new organizations, including outsourcing opportunities.
Delivery of remediation actions pertaining to but not limited by suppliers non-compliance to risks / controls; Internal/external audit findings
Adopt and Share standards, tools, best practices, principles for cost, quality and productivity improvement.  
Participation in the supplier negotiations, timelines, and plans.
Management of the projects or tasks you are assigned using project management methodology and stakeholder briefing standard templates and approaches.
Tracking and reporting of realized benefits during the life of the projects.
Ensure that problems are managed and escalated efficiently with the minimum disruption to the business. Adopt and Share standards, tools, best practices, principles for cost, quality and productivity improvement.  
Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal and external auditors and external regulators.
Requisitos

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications
•    University degree in Computer Science or related disciplines is preferred.  
•    Good experience on programme management experience, project delivery management methodologies and tools 
•    Clear understanding of the drivers of cost and the relationship with business benefits  
•    Ability to communicate complex subjects clearly.  
•    Ability to lead and manage extremely complex project implementation.  
•    Ability to lead an offshore based project delivery team.  
•    Ability to work on own initiative and under pressure.  
•    Strong sense of ownership and accountability  
•    Proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to work well as part of a team.  
•    Effective communication skills in spoken English and written English.    
•    Extensive experience in Information Technology, banking or risk areas with proven track record on managing Retail Banking and Wealth Management Program, preferably in a global environment.   
•    In depth and extensive experience of Information Technology development life cycle, process management, reporting and communications.   
•    Experience in team and department transformation planning and execution journey. 
•    Previous working experience in Cards/Loans application system and related services is preferred. 
•    Good understanding of DevOps and Agile methodology
