We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Business Development Manager / Senior Manager.

Principal Responsibilities 

  • Supporting tasks to establish new business relationships and strengthening existing ones, whilst ensuring fair outcomes for all types of customers 
  • Providing support to the communication of new products, propositions and relevant market information to customers 
  • Supporting distribution channel’s people development initiaives, e.g. selling skill coaching, product knowledge training  
  • Supporting plans and strategies to generate new business,  increase revenue for existing ones and activate new branch distribution channels within HSBC Group
  • Collaborating with multiple stakeholders, which may include branch managers, relationship mangers and product specialists, to maximise cross-selling opportunities for the bank 
  • Participating in events, initiatives and activities to capture new business opportunities
  • Protect the bank's reputation and ensuring an acceptable risk profile, whilst deepening your understanding of the client through credit and customer due diligence reviews
Requisitos
  • University degree in Business or related discipline
  • Possess strong commercial thinking and business acumen – able to highlight key compliance and risk issues that could impact business performance
  • Possess Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination Paper, including Paper 1, 3, and 5
  • Strong communication, organizational and project management skills
  • A team player, enthusiastic in driving and implementing projects, in addition to taking independent initiatives to achieve the required results
  • Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
  • Strong communication skills, particularly relating to business considerations and use non-technical jargon
  • Strong problem solving skills for wide range of problems
  • Good command of spoken and written English
