Global Private Banking & Wealth

HSBC Global Private Banking helps high net worth and ultra high net worth clients manage, grow and preserve their wealth for generations to come. Our network of global experts helps clients access investment opportunities around the world, plan for the future with wealth and succession planning, manage their portfolio with tailored solutions, and find the right support for their philanthropy.

In this role, you will:

1.    Leading, acquiring and growing profitable long-term relationships with ultra-high net worth (UHNW) Private Banking clients, establishing a holistic understanding of clients' needs, and providing full-service banking and all transactions for the ultra-high net worth clients through the marketing of all appropriate company services.
2.    Deliver innovative high value solutions across all product lines, gaining significant business and sustainable returns for the wider Group and provide leadership to teams to support and deliver ultra-high net worth client performance against plan.
3.    Provide full-service banking and all transactions to ultra-high net worth individual client's/family offices through the marketing of all appropriate private banking offerings and services.
4.    Monitor clients' portfolios on a regular basis to identify additional business opportunities and revenue growth potential.
5.    Work closely with other HSBC departments, including Wealth and Personal Banking, Commercial Banking and Global Banking and Markets, to identify cross-selling opportunities and bring all of HSBC's relevant products and services to our clients.
6.    Leverage HSBC's channels, network and brand to pursue business development activities with a focus on International Private Wealth clients.
7.    Ensure strict compliance with HSBC's internal control standards, including areas of risk, regulatory compliance and financial crime compliance.
8.    Timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators to minimize operational losses.

Requisitos

 To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

1.    At least 15 years of relationship management experience, ideally in private banking, commercial banking or investment banking sectors.
2.    Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation.
3.    Able to connect with Products team and other Lines of Business to offer a holistic "one-bank" approach to serve our ultra-high net worth/family office clients.
4.    Equip with competency to identify business opportunities beyond traditional private banking offerings, and be able to drive bespoke investment and structured lending solutions to serve client's business, personal wealth and family needs.
5.    Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
6.    Strong focus on client servicing.
7.    Excellent understanding of financial markets and wealth management products.
