We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Configuration Consultant - AUTOMATION OPS TRANSFORMATION.
Principal responsibilities
- Oversees development activity, as performed by Junior Configurators.
- Designing automated process solutions in accordance with the standard delivery framework and design principles.
- Delivering Trainee workshops / clinics on specific topics.
- Problem solving issues that arise in day to day running of automated processes and providing timely responses and solutions as required.
- Working within project planning constraints, communicating any identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager accordingly and follow change request process & governance.
- Coordinates with IT Infrastructure Delivery, Ops IT verticals teams, run support for day-to-day activities.
- Anticipates, identifies, escalates, manages and mitigates risks during RPA design in a timely manner.
- Communicating or escalating any identified project risks and issues to the DOC Project Manager or DOC Lead within 24 hours.
- The individual will need to be able to multi-task and set their own priorities, they must be aware of deadlines and ensure timely delivery at all times.
- Ability to drive change in HSBC, uplift operations automation capability.
- Has to interact and work with the DOC teams in China, Mexico, Krakow spanning different time zones.
- Proficient with Excel or VBA
- Knowledge of the enterprise’s business operations.
- Previous experience within RPA or other automation projects (24 months as a minimum).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
- Experience in negotiation and conflict management, the role requires an articulate individual; comfortable dealing with management.
- Ability to problem solve, clearly articulate requirements, and implement and drive change.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
