We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will:

  • Suggest improvement ideas to make the product better and easy to use
  • Work with the stakeholders/Delivery teams to understand the current status/requirements and provide clarity
  • Provide engineering, provisioning and demising services on x86 hardware and Virtualization platform.
  • Be responsible for  automation solution provided by CaaS which requires developing, managing deployment, reporting and project solutions with scripting, automation and orchestration tools.
  • Contribute in integrating automation processes to improve efficiency in the end-to-end infrastructure provisioning and construct telemetry and dashboards.
  • Provide technical guidance, support, creating knowledge base for the automation solutions.
  • Work closely with PODs within Distributed Compute and often liaises with other IT teams for solution design.
  • Perform knowledge transfer and mentoring of staff
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Must have Git and Github experience of source code management
  • Must have Mulesoft, KONG experience. Development of APIs in Mule and integrate with Ansible/Puppet.
  • Must have Splunk experience for monitoring and data analysis
  • Strong experience of DevOps tools, orchestration and configuration management on Ansible/Jenkins/Puppet.
  • Strong experience of Web API to build Redfish / RESTful APIs and scripting in PowerShell, Python, Perl
  • Strong understanding of x86 technologies and the products (DELL, Lenovo, HPE) and the administration
  • Proven technical skills covering vROPs, ESXi 6.7/7.0
  • Fundamental knowledge of Linux (Redhat) and Windows servers 
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed team
  • Ability to work in high pressure, highly flexible environment against both short and long-term objectives
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, peers and others in and outside the organization to accomplish goals, objectives and to identify and resolve problems
