We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: Markets & Sec Services IT
Principal responsibilities:
- Based in Guangzhou, the successful candidates will be responsible to:
- Design and develop systems to support MSS Finance and Product Control business strategies, understand and drive solutions according to future state architecture, migrate legacy systems to new technology platform, and build sustainable software with quality, reusability, scalability and supportability.
- Support and maintain current applications, and implement enhancements to meet business requirements.
- Troubleshoot defects and come up with sustainable solutions.
- Contribute to development and operational process automation and continuous improvement to the team’s DevOps maturity.
- Work with global teams and stakeholders in China, UK, India, and other regions on daily basis.
Requisitos
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software development
- Familiar with software development life cycle, Agile, and DevOps
- Good at both oral and written English, can communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Good technical knowledge and experience of the following:
- Extensive Java (e.g. JAVA EE, Spring boot)
- Messaging middleware, e.g. ActiveMQ, IBM MQ
- SQL and RDBMS
- Micro-service design and programming
- Linux script and command
- Software engineering tools such as Eclipse, Git, Jira, Jenkins
- Strong problem analysis and solving skill
- Good understanding and practices on automated testing, continuous integration, test case design, and test management
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Big data related technology, like Spark, Apache Beam, HBASE, Hive, etc.
- Distributed cache system
- Experience on designing and supporting large volume and high concurrency system
- Complex, data driven project teams, ETL or BI related project experience
- Experience working within large / strategic / global programmes with global engagement (>5 years)
Technical savvy with tools and industry related trends - Python experience
Investment banking and products knowledge
