We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

 

Business: Markets & Sec Services Tech

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Work closely with development managers, project managers, business analysts and relevant IT parties to analyse business requirements and provide viable solutions, coherent with the custody data solution globally.
  • Formulate viable solutions and evaluate associated risks, costs, timing and benefits to ensure that correct tools are effectively used and meet business requirements
  • Design and develop data solutions according to group IT standards, and ensure that solutions developed are consistent with the custody data architecture globally.
  • Play as a supervisory role for project delivery.
  • Arrange system integration testing to ensure the quality of deliverables, and support business to complete user functional testing and conduct high volume and/or stress test.
  • Identify any issues that may arise and develop measures to control risks.
  • Implement custody data solutions and project rollouts over the full project life cycle, ensure a high quality of IT deliverables, prepare documentation for compliance and audit checking.
Requisitos
  • University degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline.  Possess at least 7 years’ IT experience in software design, development and testing.
  • Technical experience in enterprise application development in Unix (Linux/AIX/Solaris) platform using Spring Boot technologies and PostgreSQL is a must.
  • Experience in test automation.
  • Experience of working in a medium to large team of staff dealing with local/overseas parties, external vendors and offshore development resource would be ideal.
  • Solutions-driven and customer-focused with sound analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work independently under pressure in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
  • Proactive and positive team player.  Self-motivated, good presentation and negotiation skills, with ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and work effectively under pressure.
  • Fluent in written/spoken English, with strong interpersonal and effective communication skills to deal with people of different levels, functions and geographic locations.
  • Able to work in high-pressure environment with little supervision, manage priorities effectively, use initiative and follow through with commitments.
