We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: IWPB Technology

Principal responsibilities: 

• Understanding business initiatives through regular interactions with project managers, business analysts and Technical leads/SMEs.
• Work closely with local and global development teams in overall solution design and technical design activities.
• Deliver high-quality Digital online banking solution in a timely manner.  Any software developed is rigorously unit tested (including but not limited to automated unit tests), satisfies the requirements while adhering to the technical design and existing departmental standards and best practices for software development.
• Provide bug fixing as needed throughout the project lifecycle.

• Candidate should hold a university graduate certificate majored in IT or equivalent experience.
• A minimum 8 years of significant working experience in software requirement, design, development, testing and support, as well as relevant IT development.
• Proficient in Java development on JDK 11 above, preferably with experiences in online banking solution includes front to back end developments.
• Strong experience of micro-service design and implementation, familiarity with backend technology stack, such as Java/SpringBoot/RestfulAPI/SpringCloud/JPA/SQL.
• Familiar with database technology such as DB2/PostgresSQL/MySQL/MongoDB.
• Familiar with core Java data structure, algorithm and reactive event driven architecture.
• Solid on OOAD, experienced on Test-Driven Development is must.
• Good command in spoken and written English as working language.
• Work closely with both local and global teams on the project delivery with agile/DevOps manners.
• A good team player with strong analytical/troubleshooting skills, and self-motivated.
• Experience on Cloud technologies, includes but not limited on Docker, Kubernetes, project experiences on Google Cloud Platform is plus.
• Experienced in high concurrency programming, familiar with multiple threads and JVM performance tuning.
