We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Credit Control Services, Operations Support Officer. 

This role is to support credit control (collection, underwritting and credit bureau) operation requirements outside the actual execution, auctioning accounts, making telephone calls or handling customer enquiries etc.
It encompasses the following areas, producing portfolio and operational MI and performance results, both standard and ad-hoc, system support and maintenance, reviews and changes requirements, Strategy and MI analysis and recommendation for improvement, responsibility for internal process, include process maps, ensuring compliance with control requirements and project handling.

Summary of Main Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Produce and provide Collections & Underwriting & Credit bureau MI.
  • Provide Collections & Credit Bureau system support.
  • Provide Dialer platform support for Collections calling activity.
  • To support and work with internal stakeholders (Audit, FCC, Finance, Compliance, Administration…) in internal processing and reporting and with Regional Collections System Support for other systems support, enhancement… to be ensure all system operate smoothly.
  • To provide policy, procedure, process, guidance, Collections system and other Collections training for Collections team.

Other assignment are as line manger requests:
  • Project handling for Collections or site requirements.
  • Support training requirements for new and existing collectors.

Control and compliance
  • Maintain HSBC control standards and follow Group Compliance Policy to minimize operational risk by:
  • Remaining compliant with and ensures awareness of Audit and Group requirements and other internal guidelines.
  • Ensuring strict compliance with government banking regulations.
  • Timely implementing internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
  • Business risk and control testing to ensure control environment within risk appeptite.

Knowledge/Special Skills Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in relevant field.
  • IT knowledge (college level) or SQL, SAS Coding is preferrable.
  • Communication skill.
  • Basic knowledge in Retail product: credit card and lending, and Collections operations
