We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Delivery Head.

Business: Enterprise Technology

Principal responsibilities:

You will be tenacious about doing things the right way and building efficient and ‘brilliantly simple’ business solutions. You will also be adept at working in customer facing roles within enterprise environments, helping clients to capitalise on technology for their commercial benefit. 

The foundation experiences that will be likely to underpin future success are:

• Set up the global engineering vision and roadmap for the Risk and Compliance Tech Platforms team. Currently IKP, GCP, MongoDB, Microservices, platforms automation strategy to enable services to release at anytime.
• Leading the global platforms team as tech lead, provide SME support to senior tech leads across the immediate and wider teams in Risk and Compliance technology.
• Coach and mentor engineering resources to develop a pipeline of outstanding engineers.
• Set up clear vision on engineering practices globally, and bring engineering team together to implement.
• Working closely with R&C Architecture team on shaping future state architecture.
• Working with engineering teams in the project delivery, making sure delivery is of the highest quality, with resilience and strong cyber controls as the foundation.
• Troubleshooting any technical crisis.
• Providing L3 Production Support.
• Ensuring supporting systems and infrastructure are monitored proactively to detect exceptional events.
• Outstanding Technical and people management skills.

High Level & Holistic Capabilities sought:

• Candidate should be a university graduate in IT or equivalent experience.
• Expert in Springboot, Spring Cloud, WebSphere, Microservices architecture and distributed applications.
• Experience of building large scaled distributed system, familiar with Event-Driven Architecture, and Domain-Driven Design methodologies.
• Expert in Java.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills in a global environment.
• Well mastered IKP, GKE, AliCloud, MongoDB and able to set up patterns for team to step by step drive and implement to production.
• Hands on experience of Streaming, Kafka, Redis.
• Strong technical capabilities (BigData, GCP, API, Microservices), knowledge and experience on DevOps, Scaled Agile Framework.
• Machine Learning knowledge, i.e. GenAI.
• Experience on Microservice E2E Design/Deployment/PDC/BAU.
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and coaching skills to provide the right level guidance to the technical teams and Pods.
• Passionate about technology and looking for opportunities to learn & bringing new ideas to the team.
• Experience with Oracle DB, PostgreSQL, Docker, GCP deployment.
• Experience using Unix and Shell scripting.
• Software engineering best practices including: BDD, continuous integration (using Jenkins) and continuous deployment.
• Experience using GIT, Jira, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins and Ansible.
• Agile development, in particular Scrum/Kanban. 
• Machine Learning knowledge.
• Creating Data pipeline for Cloud(especially GCP / IKP / Alicloud) project experience is an advantage.
• Experience on large scaled micro-service E2E Design/Deployment.
• Exceptional in Agile ways of working (Scrum, Kanban…etc.).
• A track record of following through on commitments.
