We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Consultant Specialist

Business: WPB Technology

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring that they are equipped with the necessary skills and tools to succeed.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions to meet business user requirements.
  • Ensure that all delivered tasks meet business requirements and are completed on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
  • Promote best practices in software development, including automated testing, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into executable development plans.
  • Support agile methodologies within the team, participating actively in scrum meetings and ceremonies
  • Facilitate system integration activities with other teams to ensure compliance with architecture policies and standards.
  • Drive ongoing improvement in development processes and advocate for the adoption of the right tools and technologies.
  • Work closely with global teams on joint development and maintenance projects.
  • Assist the team in troubleshooting and resolving production environment issues
Requisitos
  • A university graduate with a degree in computer science or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, with a significant portion in software development.
  • Proven track record in a leadership or management role within a software development team.
  • Strong expertise in designing and developing high-scalable distributed system
  • Strong analytical, design, and problem-solving skills; excellent team player with the ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in a DevOps-focused environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies with experience using DevOps tools like Jenkins, Ansible, Splunk, AppDynamics, and GitHub
  • Proficient with Linux distributed platforms, Java, Spring, Spring Boot, web services, JSON, and YAML.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Kubernetes and other cloud-native technology, familiarity with external cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services or AliCloud.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Technical knowledge or experience in Cyber Security is an advantage.
