Principal responsibilities
- Use Case Ownership:
- Act as the primary owner for treasury management use cases, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Define and document detailed use case requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
- Solution Design:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and architects to design scalable and efficient software solutions for treasury management.
- Ensure solutions adhere to the bank's technology standards and best practices.
- Development Oversight:
- Work closely with development teams to ensure timely and accurate implementation of use cases.
- Provide technical guidance and support to developers, ensuring alignment with the use case requirements.
- Testing and Validation:
- Define test scenarios and participate in the testing process to validate the functionality and performance of the implemented solutions.
- Ensure solutions meet quality standards and are free of critical defects.
- Stakeholder Communication:
- Act as the primary point of contact for all matters related to treasury management use cases.
- Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to optimize treasury management processes and systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in treasury management.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- CFA/FRM/CQF certificate holder preferred
- 5+ years of experience in software development or business analysis, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of treasury management processes, including cash flow forecasting, funding, and regulatory compliance.
- Experience leading use case development and implementation in a software development environment.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
- Familiarity with banking systems, APIs, and data integration.
- Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and database technologies (e.g., SQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Experience with treasury risk management tools and frameworks.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to treasury management (e.g., Basel III, LCR, NSFR).
- Familiarity with cloud-based solutions and microservices architecture.
