We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager – Data Quality

Principal responsibilities

  • Execute CIB(Corp  Inst Banking) Banking data policies and standards by working collaboratively with the Operating Business, Risk Stewards and Information Technology (IT) stakeholders
  • Facilitate ongoing adherence to CIB Banking data policies and standards using best practices, methodologies, and processes
  • Support the remediation of prioritized Data Quality Issues across CIB.
  • Analyze data problems for assigning to appropriate data managers whilst also extending support for impact assessment, root cause analysis and solution identification.
  • Support impacted Data Managers of Data Quality Issues (DQI) to identify lineage and appropriate stakeholders
  • Keep stakeholders updated and educated on lessons learnt and best practices in the industry
  • Utilizations of group tooling to support implementation of data controls for CIB.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with key stakeholders to support change initiatives ensuring they are implemented appropriately from a risk management and operational perspective

Requisitos
  • Project Management experience is a must
  • Experience working with Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau, JIRA and MS Office preferred
  • Banking experience with good knowledge of CIB.
  • Knowledge of Customer Due Diligence, preferably in a CIB Banking context, is favourable
  • Understanding of data management or governance role, with good awareness of industry data standards (desirable)
  • Able to demonstrate understanding of data quality management, particularly around static customer data, product, finance and risk data
  • Analytical ability and attention to detail to have a 360 degree view of the remediation progress
  • Ability to communicate complex and/or technical work and insights into straightforward business language
  • Self-motivated, focused, detailed oriented and able to work efficiently to deadlines are essential
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, but is also a good team player
  • Ability to work across geographically dispersed teams and off-shore resources in a matrix environment
