The Pricing Manger will be responsible for creating mortgage daily pricing, approving, and processing daily loan level system updates in Mortgage Cadence Platform (MCP).
As our Pricing Manager you will:
- Develop & maintain Mortgage Pricing models in Excel and other various databases such as MS Access
- Conduct impact analysis of strategic decisions through simulations of respective key performance indicator and new profitability prediction
- Interact with product managers and pricing managers to help map a view of strategic decision impact on profit and loss
- Apply specialist understanding of competitor and self-pricing strategies for a specific product in each market to create proposals to improve bottom line profit, book size or mitigate impact of ever-changing market dynamics, optimize Volume/Profit using Mathematical Programming algorithms
- Assess existing pricing strategy, design & execute price tests to understand the sensitivity behavior of customers
- Ensure daily pricing is accurately created and issued timely via the mortgage origination platform and HSBC website
- Validate that mortgage loan origination platform is correctly applying loan level pricing
- Approve and process daily loan level pricing exception requests to ensure a positive customer experience in accordance with policy and procedures
- Review loan level exception pricing requests for profitability requirements prior to approval
- Create and maintain departmental policy and procedures
For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $81,000.00 and $121,400.00
The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.

You´ll likely have the following qualifications to succeed in this role:
- 5 years’ experience in Mortgage or equivalent experience
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience
- Proven analytical, multi-tasking and organizational skills
- Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages
- Advanced Excel and MS Access skills
- Understanding of customer and mortgage life cycle
- Advanced knowledge of the mortgage origination process, including pricing, registration, processing and closing
- Ability to meet project deadlines and objectives independently and within the team
