Principal Responsibilities

The Quantitative Investment Strategies (QIS) Structurer is responsible for designing and marketing strategies that are systematic and rules-based across asset classes and investment styles. This role involves working at the intersection of quantitative finance, derivatives structuring, and market analytics to create bespoke solutions for clients, often leveraging advanced quantitative models and innovative financial engineering techniques. • Analyse market dynamics and quantitative signals to assess the performance of strategies under various market conditions. Back test and stress test strategies using historical data. Enhance and refine indices and quantitative models
  • Collaborate with sales teams to market QIS strategies to broad range of investors. Prepare detailed and compelling pitch materials, presentations, and performance summaries tailored to client objectives. Educate clients on quantitative investment strategies and on how systematic strategies can help achieving the investment objectives
  • Engage with clients, in collaboration with Sales, to understand their risk-return profiles, investment horizons, and constrain. Propose tailored strategies that align with specific client needs. Identify market trends and client demands to create new opportunities for systematic strategies
  • Oversee the implementation of systematic strategies, ensuring accurate model deployment and execution in real-time markets. Partner with trading desks to execute rebalancing, portfolio hedging, and other strategy-related actions. Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to client-specific guidelines and benchmarks
  • Build or enhance existing tools to automate and streamline the implementation of systematic strategies. Liaise with quant and IT teams to integrate new data sources and analytics into the strategy development process. Ensure the robustness, scalability, and operational efficiency of the implemented strategies
  • Draft and define the rulebooks governing QIS strategies, detailing the methodologies, data inputs, and rebalancing protocols. Clearly articulate rules to ensure transparency, replicability, and compliance with regulatory standards. Regularly review and update rulebooks in response to market changes or new regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with legal teams to review and finalize documentation for QIS offerings. Ensure that all strategies and rulebooks comply with internal risk frameworks and external regulatory requirements. Provide clarity on complex financial products to legal teams, ensuring seamless communication between technical and legal stakeholders
