We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
Business: WPB Insurance
Principal responsibilities
- Develop and implement IT solutions to meet business requirements
- Code and build a robust, scalable and maintainable system, following HSBC global standard and best practice.
- Work as full stack engineer to conduct unit tests, system tests, user acceptance tests, regression tests, provide support on system implementation and support the application
- Identify and troubleshoot coding issue to ensure projects deliver with high quality.
- Build and maintain the continuous integration & continuous deployment pipeline to automate software development life cycle.
Requisitos
- A university graduate with degree in computer science, information technology or a related discipline
- At least 6-years of technical experience in following is mandatory: Java, Oracle PL/SQL and Linux/Unix shell script.
- Experience in some of following technologies is required: Spring / Spring Batch / Spring Boot / Web Service.
- Experience on automated testing, DevOps tools and CI/CD pipeline setup
- Fluent English speaking and accurate writing skills
- Fluent verbal Cantonese communication skills is preferred.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated with excellent time management skills and strong initiative.
- Able to work independently and effectively under pressure
