Commercial Banking – Global Payments Solutions 

Hang Seng's Global Payments Solutions ("GPS") offers a comprehensive range of cash management services from account and deposit management, payments and remittance, collection and receivable services, liquidity management and electronic channel solutions to our corporate and commercial banking customers. We provide tailored solutions to our corporate banking customers as well as efficient plug-and-use services to our business banking customers. We are responsible to drive the liabilities growth of Commercial and Global Banking segments through the provision of leading class cash management solutions to them. We are also steering the transaction banking FX growth for the bank as well. We focus on our customer needs in Greater China and aim to be the one-stop cash management partner to our customers across mainland China and Hong Kong.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Solution Sales - Treasury Solution  

Principal responsibilities

  • Work in close partnership with Commercial Banking Coverage team and wider Global Payments Solutions (GPS) teams to identify and develop business opportunities focusing on Large Corporates who require complex GPS solutions.

  • Act as cash management product solution advisor to manage C-suite level and be the to-go client contact from different functions across Treasury, Finance, Transformation and Technology (CIO/CTO) to drive complex GPS cash management and treasury solution.

  • Strong product advisory skill to act as an expert to drive GPS products solution including payment, collection, liquidity solution and digital connectivity in a consultative manner

  • Response to RFP (Request for proposal) from large corporate customers, experience in handling complex solution and work with project teams of clients (including 3rd party consultancy firm).

  • Advise client on digital transformation project and act as a technical expert in leading H2H/API/ Swift FIN ERP connectivity projects with technical knowledge.

  • Act as trusted product advisory partner with Coverage team to formulate GPS sales strategy focusing on Large Commercial Banking clients.

  • Independently lead the end to end GPS advisory sale process with senior stakeholders both externally and internally, including presentation in industry events, GPS case study write up, client testimonials, client planning and wallet sizing as well as cross-selling.

  • Collaborate with team members across the functions in sales strategies, deal pipeline management and conversion techniques.

  • Take the lead to manage senior client dynamic for complex implementation projects by working closely with the GPS Implementation, Digital, Product and Client Service teams to ensure smooth implementation process and customer experience to convert mandate to revenue realization.

  • Proactively provide market insight such as competitors’ landscape, regulatory changes to relationship management teams related to cash management and treasury transformation.

  • Maintain comprehensive sales business momentum record in a timely manner to allow tracking of sales and business performance and sales quality.

Requisitos

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or relevant disciplines.

  • Proven experience in corporate cash and treasury sales management and digital transformation in leading financial institutions with proved sales track records. 

  • Experience in digital transformation, product management and/or other transaction banking product (global trade/securities services) will be an advantage.

  • Advance knowledge in cash management products including payment, collection, liquidity solution and digital connectivity

  • Able to work under pressure with Key Performance Indicators.

  • Highly motivated & achievement driven with an ability to formulate & articulate sales strategies.

  • Well-developed consultative selling, communication, presentation, interpersonal and influencing skills with track record in managing complex customer dynamic and complex solutions.

  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.

  • Fluency in written and verbal English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).

  • Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
