We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineering Manager.

Principal responsibilities

This role is responsible for heading and managing several teams of development leads and developers performing system development work and system analysis. Roles at this level require significant technical and industry experience / expertise.

  • Candidate(s) are expected to work effectively to collaborate with TREATS Global team and/or other development teams across borders, work effectively under pressure.
  • Interpret business design document if necessary; develop technical specification documents and/or develop system accordingly.
  • Hands on develop TREATS applications which is an in-house built systems based on iSeries.
  • Coordination work to ensure successful project delivery with good quality.
  • Candidate(s) would be required to work stream(s) independently in a reasonable timeframe in case of project need.
  • Follow HSBC IT engineering standards and practices; and proposal improvement suggestion on project deliveries.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates.

Requisitos

  • Degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 10 years' experience in IT industry with at least 5 years in technical analysis methodologies and management
  • Relevant technical experience (AS400 RPGLE / Java / web / database etc) - Proficient Level
  • Proficient experience with iSeries industry tooling (ie.ARCAD, RTC, RDi, etc.).
  • Familiar with DevOps, SDLC, Agile proejct delivery process.
  • Treasury/Finance/Banking knowledge/experience - Proficient Level in advance
  • Project management experience - Professional Level
  • Team leading experience - Expert Level
