We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Software Engineering Manager.

Principal responsibilities

• Defining and ensuring strategy is in place across all Service Management Disciplines and individual strategies to form a cohesive practice strategy.
• Providing expertise, specialist knowledge and consultancy on tools, technologies and processes, to support the development and delivery of the Service Management discipline area's strategic goals and objectives, e.g.
• Responsibility for the current and future operating model for Service Management Process, data inputs/outputs, requirements gathering and running Communities of Practice within specific Disciplines
• Ensuring governance structure (including Key Controls) is upheld throughout the Service Management Practice and reporting is aligned to global reporting standards
• Collaborate with Service Management Disciplines and Service Management Practice  resources to promote Service Management best Practice and adoption

Requisitos

• Proficiency with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools such as ServiceNow
• Experience with automation tools and platforms such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitOps or similar technologies that facilitate process automation.
• Ability to write scripts in languages such as Java, Python, or NodeJS, Golang to automate tasks and processes.
• Understanding of cloud services and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud) and their role in service management and risk control.
• Basic knowledge of database management systems and SQL for querying and managing data.
• Awareness of cybersecurity principles and compliance standards that impact service management and risk control.
• Experience in integrating security practices into the DevOps process, ensuring that security is a shared responsibility throughout the entire development lifecycle, and leveraging DevSecOps tools and methodologies to enhance risk management and service delivery.
• Strong leadership skill, communication skill, influencing skill, problem-solving skill, crisis handling skill for the role to adopt the authority of process owner, championing the process/discipline within technology to: Drive its strategy and direction, ensure compliance with any and all related policies, lead continual process improvement and manage process exceptions; Work collaboratively with GB/GF representatives to improve engagement and drive tangible business-aligned improvements & benefits, and with Technology Service Management Discipline Management to ensure operationally that the process delivers business value
